When the dash asks for service
Many Chevrolet models show an oil life reading on the dash. It is the vehicle's own estimate, based on how it has been driven, not a fixed number of kilometres. When it gets low, or the dash tells you to change the oil, book an oil change. Your owner's manual explains the reading and what else is due at each service.
A Malibu and a Tahoe need different things, so we go by the schedule written for your model. If a warning light comes on, we read the codes, test from there, and tell you what we found before quoting the repair.
