Wheel alignment in Calgary.
Car pulling to one side or wearing tires unevenly? We set the alignment back to the manufacturer’s specifications and quote before any work starts.
What an alignment covers
An alignment sets the angles of your wheels so they point straight and sit square to the road. We check and adjust the three that matter:
- Camber, the inward or outward tilt of the wheel
- Caster, the angle of the steering axis
- Toe, whether the wheels point in or out when viewed from above
Everything is set back to your vehicle manufacturer’s specifications.
Signs you need an alignment
- Uneven tire wear
- The car drifts to one side
- The steering wheel sits off centre when driving straight
- You just put on new tires
If you notice any of these, or it has been more than a year since your last alignment, bring the car in.
Why it is worth doing
Putting off an alignment leads to wear you can avoid. With the wheels aligned you get:
- A smoother, straighter drive
- Longer tire life
- Fewer repairs from uneven wear
- Better fuel economy
Feel a vibration rather than a pull? That is usually tire balancing. Clunks or loose steering point to suspension parts.
