Normal or severe schedule
A Hyundai owner's manual usually lists two maintenance schedules: one for normal driving and one for severe use. Severe use covers things like many short trips, especially in freezing weather, lots of idling, towing, and dusty or gravel roads.
A Calgary winter of short drives across the city can fit that description. Check the list in your manual. If your driving matches it, follow the severe schedule, and tell us which one you use when you book.
Hyundai questions
Yes. Hyundai is on our list of makes we service, along with Ford, Toyota, Honda and others. That includes the Elantra, Tucson, Santa Fe and Kona.
Check your warranty booklet for what it requires, and keep every receipt with the date and mileage on it. You get a detailed quote before any work starts, so you know what is being done.
Your owner's manual lists a normal and a severe schedule. If your driving matches the severe list, such as many short trips in freezing weather, follow that one. Tell us which schedule you use when you book.
