Toyota hybrids
Toyota sells hybrid versions of several popular models, including the RAV4, Corolla, Camry and Highlander. A hybrid pairs a gas engine with an electric motor and a high-voltage battery, and uses one or both as you drive.
A lot of the routine care is the same as on any car. The gas engine still needs oil changes on schedule. The brakes, tires, suspension, cooling system and 12-volt battery still need regular checks.
Questions about the hybrid system
If your question is about the high-voltage battery or the hybrid drive system itself, call (403) 283-5015 before you book. Tell us what the car is doing and we will tell you whether it is work we take on.
Toyota questions
Yes. Toyota is one of the makes we service, cars, SUVs and pickups alike, along with Ford, Chevrolet, Honda, Hyundai and other domestic and import makes.
Routine work, yes: oil changes, brakes, tires, suspension and the 12-volt battery. For anything to do with the high-voltage battery or the hybrid drive system, call (403) 283-5015 first so we can tell you whether we take it on.
Check your warranty booklet for what it asks of you, follow the maintenance schedule in your owner's manual, and keep the receipt from every visit.
