Engines, transmissions and oil
Most Mazda automatics shift through a set of fixed gears, like a traditional automatic, rather than using a CVT. Mazda also offers a turbocharged engine in some versions of its cars and SUVs.
A turbocharger spins very fast and relies on the engine oil to keep it lubricated and cool. Clean oil at the right interval matters on any engine, and a turbo engine leans on it even more.
Use the oil your manual calls for
Your owner's manual lists the oil grade and the change schedule for your engine. Tell us the model, year and engine when you book, or bring the manual, and the oil change follows what it calls for.
